  Google maps is not the greatest for directions between OC and LA; they've partnered with Flix Bus/Greyhound and will direct you to ride one of those buses instead of the public transit system. Bing Maps or an app like Transit or Moovit ate more honest about your options. Source: 11 months ago

  There's an app/website called moovit which is the better version of google maps that's spesifically designed for public transport. You can set your destination to the airport and set a spesific arrival time, it'll tell you exactly when to leave, what public transport to use and where to get off the train.   Here is a great app for live Metro updates, Travel planning and so much more. Have a look online in advance at moovitapp.com, then on the far left top corner next to the name MOOVIT is a small down arrow.   Just a heads up, from a few months ago, taxi drivers started refusing to drive with vouchers (from a personal experience), so you should probably stick with using apps like Yandex, Pink taxi or use a bus (lines 72 or A1) (Moovit app has great coverage of all transport options around Belgrade, better than Google Maps, in my opinion).   I recommend Moovit for moving around urban areas (it does not provide info on intercity connections though; for that I recommend the app of whatever transportation company you intend to use, e.g. CP for trains or Rede Expressos for buses). Source: about 2 years ago

  I can confirm that the Lugove bus is a way to get from Vigo to Tui. I recently took one from Vigo to A Guarda for my camino. You can just show up at the Estación de Autobuses in Vigo and pay for the ride when you hop on. I used the Moovit app (http://moovitapp.com/) to figure out which line numbers would work for me to help me identify the correct bus to get on at the station. Source: over 2 years ago

  Hi I reccomend using this app! It's called moovitapp.com it has dynamic routing which gives you the best fastest route depending on the time, traffic etc. Saved me a lot on campus, but be careful it doesn't update in real time on data (aka I followed its every step while it was loading and I missed my stop, reccomend using it for planning a route rather then gps). • Let's bring Moovit App to Baku

  I see that Google Maps is not updated well recently, so I want to bring Moovit. It is available in Android, IOS and web versions. Basically, it is a Google Maps alternative that lets everyone to contribute. For now, I have added Baku-Sumgayit train, metro, almost all Bakubus routes, and a few others.
