I use mostly https://macosicons.com to change some icons that don't follow the design guidelines of macOS such as Spotify, VMware Horizon Cliend and so on. But if there is an app update, of course, the custom icon gets lost. I was thinking to write a script that does me the favour once in a while, when the Icons are lost again. Speaking on Launchpad, the game icons are NEVER displayed properly. I like to make things look esthetically pleasing so I go to macosicons.com, find a nice icon, dig deep in the file system and change it.
