Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Llama Life.
  1. Why should a person choose Llama Life over its competitors?

Unlike many other task managers and focus tools in the market, we also focus on fun - think confetti, colour and emoji themes. We also have features designed to help specifically with time blindness and task initiation. Another key focus for us is to never overwhelm our community- we're designed to feel simple to use.

  • Managing time when working from home
You should try https://llamalife.co/ it's something you can use right on your desktop.. Its a pompdoro/time blocking tool and is brilliant! Source: 10 months ago
  • Time management

  • Life changing tool for me!
So I started a trial for this co-working platform called Flow Club after reading this mini book by Nik from ADHDVision and it has been life changing!!! Its like someone turned on a switch in my brain, the time blocking + social accountability aspect of it just really seems to make sense to my ADHD brain. I managed to get a lot of things that I've been postponing for days, even years, finally done! I've been... Source: 12 months ago
  • Help me pick my next iOS project
I just checked out BenchApp's landing page and app. Looks solid. I too play beer league. My team uses TeamSnap, which is soooo old and unrefreshed. Not sure if you guys struggle with SEO, but your website does feel catered towards hockey (Gretzky reference, drink manager). You should build different use case landing pages for various sports. Llamalife did it recently with ADHD use cases and it helped them. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a time-blocking app that doesn’t start at a specific time but rather when you activate it manually.
Have you tried llamalife? It’s web only, but sounds like what you want - set a list of tasks with duration and push play (or pause) whenever you like. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I've been working on this fun, flexible pomodoro-type app. Wondering if anyone would like TickTick integration?
I just got started, but will this continue to work as it is in llamalife.co for recurring daily tasks? Source: about 2 years ago
  • I've been working on this fun, flexible pomodoro-type app. Wondering if anyone would like TickTick integration?
It's called Llama Life and has a bunch of other unique features like flashing visual alarms, nature soundscapes, and chime sounds at intervals of your choosing. Oh and you can set an emoji for each task 🕺🏻🎉. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Looking for a simple system to implement
I found Llama Life a few days ago and it's working well! :D. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I will be a software engineer and was wondering what are good side hustles I can do?
Build something! There are tons of people making small sites that are relatively cheap but help generate some income and are a passion project. I personally have a side business that requires very little work and generates some extra cash every month. Examples of this are things like https://vim.so, https://thedailybyte.dev, https://llamalife.co, https://www.getcyberleads.com and the list goes on. Even if you... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Bootstrapped my productivity app to 700 paying customers as a solo founder! 👩🏻‍💻
Here's my website for reference: https://llamalife.co. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Suggest me a Focus Timer application with todoist integration [FREE]
Otherwise I have heard about https://llamalife.co/ which is quite new. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Hyperfixation and 1-more-thing-itis
Set a timer. If you're time blind and time gets away from you easily, you need a tool that help you keep tabs on that. The purpose of this is not to put deadline pressure on finishing necessarily (though it can be), but more to keep track of time passing. The point isn't to shame yourself in taking too long, and feel anxious about time ticking down; the point is to just have a way for an outside influence to be... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Pomodoro Technique for high productivity
I'm biased but I use Llama Life - it's a tool I made initially just for myself but I got great feedback on it from reddit so I've now made it into an actual product. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Importing Todoist tasks into a Pomodoro / Focus tool
Excited to share that I've now built Todoist integration into Llama Life (pomodoro / focus tool), so you can now easily pull in your Todoist Today tasks in, and set a focus timer against each one (and add emoji too 😝). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I've been working on this fun little pomodoro app. Wondering if anyone would like Todoist integration?
It's called Llama Life and has a bunch of other unique features like flashing visual alarms, nature soundscapes, and chime sounds at intervals of your choosing. Oh and you can set an emoji for each task 🕺🏻. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Last year I found my hyper-focus! 👀Started teaching myself software development and I absolutely LOVE it 👩🏻‍💻. Naturally first thing I build is a to-do list app to help myself! ✅Proud of what I’ve done so far, but wondering what can I do to make it better?
It’s called Llama Life and it’s a to-do list specifically designed to help to provide structure and focus, while still keeping things light and fun. Source: about 3 years ago
  • I made the switch from a career in advertising/branding into software development! I started teaching myself to code 1.5yrs ago. Have now released my first product as as solo entrepreneur. Super proud and have just got my first 250 paid customers! It was challenging, but am so glad I did it
Fast forward to now. My ultimate goal is still around making products, but now I'm able to make them myself, which I really enjoy the process of doing. I'm focused on seeing if I can make Llama Life into a profitable business. It's not there yet, long way to go, but am working on it full time. That would be my ideal dream. Source: about 3 years ago
