    Absolutely amazing!

LibreWolf just makes my work easier and faster, it only needs some configuration and you're done. To be honest uBlock-Origin is the best Ad-Block in my opinion, it's the only one I can trust for privacy!

🏁 Competitors: Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, Whale, Microsoft Edge

Cromite[0] is the best on Android, it's a privacy-oriented open source patchset on top of Chromium. Cromite has a desktop build, but it's a bit more experimental than the mobile build, so you can use Ungoogled Chromium[1] instead. Ungoogled is also a privacy-oriented open source patchset on top of Chromium. You are incorrect. Please take a look at the default preferences that they ship, as they are a large and important part of it. Literally on the front page: https://librewolf.net You're here to astroturf for Mozilla or Google, aren't you? - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
  • F-Droid, Keyboard Libraries, and Choosing a Browser
This also prompted a change beyond my phone: I've left behind Chrome and Firefox on my Windows and Linux machines in favor of Librewolf, a privacy and security-focused Firefox fork for desktops. The experience has been painless and I wish I had just made the switch earlier. I did activate Firefox sync (which is by default disabled in Mull and Librewolf) and have had a smooth experience across my devices. So far so... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago

Try Librewolf. It's a privacy fork so out of the box it may break some sites; uBlock Origin is preinstalled, some configurations are altered and additional configs are added. However, you can change the configurations such that it lets you do what you want. Some configurations are locked out of the box, but I believe it's possible to enable overriding the new configurations. Main site:... Source: over 2 years ago

Librewolf is updated at the same rate as FF is, has uBlock Origin built in, telemetry is removed, and a bunch of other security configs that you have to manually disable in FF are disabled by default. It has canvas fingerprint prevention built in as well. Just download FF, and using either homebrew or mac developer tools, just copy and paste the repositories into terminal https://gitlab.com/librewolf-community. Source: about 3 years ago

5 Most Privacy Focused Web Browsers

The 11 Best Web Browsers Not Based on Chromium
One of LibreWolf's main attractions is its staunch commitment to user privacy. It ships with a no-telemetry policy out-of-the-box, ensuring that your browsing habits stay your business. This places it a cut above many counterparts, including Firefox, which requires users to manually opt-out of telemetry and data collection.
