Legacy Family Tree also has a free version ($35 to unlock full program) - I found this one a little easier to use over RootsMagic. Legacy will also import from FamilySearch (as well as RootsMagic), which was a must for me. Source: about 2 years ago

Legacy Family Tree is getting there and their GEDCOMs tend to be more accurate in my personal experience it connects with FamilySearch IIRC. Source: almost 3 years ago
Legacy Standard Edition is also a free download, and has enough features that I used it for many years before I finally upgraded to the paid version to get specific functionality. Source: almost 3 years ago
