We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about Killercoda and what they use it for.
  • Practicing Kubernetes Control Plane environment in Killercoda
Killercoda offers free environments (based on Ubuntu) with various tools for beginners to try hands-on. It also has the Kubernetes playground which provides control plane server access for 1 hour. In which we can try to practice hands-on with control plane components. Because sometimes we are dependent on training platforms to try the control plane (or kubeadm) practice, and killercoda comes handy as a free... - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
  • Passed CKAD with 95
Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://killercoda.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Broken Kubernetes clusters to fix like in Klustered?
Https://killercoda.com/ has a few scenarios. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Free Online Kubernetes Labs?
I think killercoda is pretty cool, they don't have a lot of scenarios yet but it does create them like killer.sh does. You can even submit scenarios! Source: about 1 year ago
  • CKAD exam help
Killercoda has free labs, I recommend doing those. And there are a few other sites offering paid practice exams or even question dumps, but some of those seem sketchy. I'd personally stick to KodeKloud, killer.sh and Killercoda. Source: about 1 year ago
  • In order to prepare for the CKA exam, how can I get more hands-on practice/experience?
Killercoda.com is also quite useful and free (same people made killer.sh I believe). Source: about 1 year ago
  • I thought about buying this book to study for CKAD would you be able to tell me if you indicate it?
It's relatively cheap, and it might be a bit out of date, but it certainly won't hurt. I recall there was a CKAD curriculum overhaul in September 2021 that made the book a bit harder to follow. I don't know if it would be enough by itself for CKAD prep. Personally, I spent a lot of time on the Linux Foundation CKAD training material (my employer was kind enough to pay for it), and also on the relevant Tasks... Source: over 1 year ago
  • How to protect Apps and APIs in Kubernetes from zero day attacks?
Killercoda's Playground provides interactive environments. As its name implies, these playground environments can be used risk-free for quick and easy deployment and first hands-on experience with modern solutions like open-appsec in immediately available, ready-to-use environments. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • How to prepare for CKAD for a beginner?
Killer.sh is the one to go (but it's around 30 bucks), but they offer some free practice questions on killercoda. I'd say you probably should invest in the killer.sh one, because it gives you a very good feel on the the exam. Source: over 1 year ago
  • CKA prep on local?
You can use killercoda https://killercoda.com/ Its a free environment with 2 nodes, that lasts 1 hour. Source: over 1 year ago
  • The Certified Kubernetes Administrator Exam – A Quick Guide to K8 Success – With Free Course References.
Killercoda, is a free CKA practice environment, by the same guys that develop killer.sh, they provide the mock exam simulators that you get for free when purchasing your CKA Exam voucher from the Linux Foundation. Https://killercoda.com/. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • Using Kubernetes Playground in kodekloud
There are free resources available as well. This one for example, https://killercoda.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Any good sources to start studying Kubernetes from and maybe some tips to how should I study it from scratch?
If you dont wanna create your own cluster, you can use https://killercoda.com/ An environment with 2 nodes. Source: over 1 year ago
  • killer.sh is ridiculously hard compared to what's shown in some of the courses
I made 85 out of 110 points on my first try on the killersh... However the time management is more important, and some experience with the UI can help you to collect more points. There is a free playground on the killerkoda (https://killercoda.com), I think that was the reason why I had that "high" score on my first try... I think the real exam is on halfway between the kodekloud and killersh. Source: almost 2 years ago
