• FFmpeg 7.0 Released

  "Regular" people don't really need FFMPEG. Regular people need tools with GUIs that have a non-generic purpose. So stuff like https://kdenlive.org/en/ that are backed by ffmpeg are (imo) superior "regular" person tools.   All video editors have similar layouts. I'd suggest either DaVinci Resolve or Kdenlive. Both are free. Resolve is somewhat high-end and there is a paid version, but it only adds a couple of features that only professional will need - the free one really is a complete and fully-functional editor.
