Cropped out what wouldn't work and upscaled it with https://imgupscaler.com/. Took me about an hour for each. One wasn't working at all. You can also think of a software to restore old photos in case she's doing that (something like Photoglory or Inpaint) or DIY genealogy books/albums (there are workbooks, family tree guides, etc) or something like that.
