It's simple and easy to set it up. An amazing tool if you are managing multiple projects with email from different domains.
If you need simple email forwarding for your domain, you can use ImprovMX. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
And if you domain registrar doesnβt offer email forwarding, just discovered very recently on this sub the free tier of improvmx works wonderfully! Source: about 1 year ago
You could always buy your own weird or cringe domain names and use something like ImprovMX, https://improvmx.com/. You'd simply just buy the domain(s) and then update its MX records and set a TXT record. Source: about 1 year ago
Https://improvmx.com/ is good for this use case. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Sharing functionality that simply shares the landing page's URL, and a feedback option that opens up an email to Flow's support email. I used ImprovMX to forward support emails to a personal email account. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Was trying to refer to some mail forwarding service, like https://improvmx.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
I've been self hosting my email for a long time and you can send large amounts of email (at least as large as most people would care to grow newsletters anyway) independently and even if you can't there are many providers that will help you do it, some like ImprovMX which let you essentially borrow the trust of their MX records. Most of these providers support SMTP. SMTP would have been the best way to support... Source: over 1 year ago
Personally I've had a few deliverability issues with forwardemail, https://improvmx.com/ has always worked for me though. Source: over 1 year ago
Another solution to this problem is relaying through services which will do the heavy lifting for you (this was been discussed in the original thread, here and in the article I wrote). So far people have suggested - ImprovMX (https://improvmx.com) - Mailgun (https://mailgun.com) As any others come in I will update this comment (until I can't, anyway) and the article as a reference. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I'm going to update the article with this but one thing from the original HN discussion that was recommended is: https://improvmx.com/ Run your own email servers, but forward through there for better delivery? Maybe this is what we need more of -- A class of mail system participants who exclusively maintain trusted IPs and do the legwork of trying to get through the gnarly systems set up by the other large email... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Shameless plug here, but that is the purpose of [ImprovMX](https://improvmx.com). - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Buy a domain name. Sign up with https://improvmx.com/. Your domain-based email forwards to your regular email. No web site required. Source: over 1 year ago
What link did you use? I go to their metasploit.com and get directed to https://app.vagrantup.com/rapid7/boxes/metasploitable3-ub1404 that doesn't require any email to download. For further reference, if you ever need non-generic domain for email (basically how they tell your email is "company"), just create an MX record on a domain in https://freedns.afraid.org/subdomain/ pointed using https://improvmx.com/ to... I've been using https://improvmx.com for years. Totally free and I can basically setup whatever email addresses I want for my domain (just using a wildcard catchall) and have them all forward on to a single gmail account. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://improvmx.com/ Easily create an email aliases for your domain name. It is free and does not require you to register to use it. Source: almost 2 years ago
For e-mail forwarding you can use https://improvmx.com, or if you feel ambitious you can use Amazon SES, but that's a pain in the ass and I try to avoid it unless I need to for clients these days. Source: almost 2 years ago
The only hitch so far is that improvmx.com does not do smtp for free. You have to pay for that, and god knows I am allergic to paying for stuff. Lucky sendinblue.com will let you send up to to 300 messages a day for free, so go and set up an account with them. Make sure to do the full set up or it will look like it is working but it will not work. Put in a business name (just say personal) and a street... Source: almost 2 years ago
I have many legacy Google Workspace domains setup for friends and family who are not tech savvy. They are all comfortable with the Gmail interface, so it will be hard to move many of them to a new interface. I have looked at the companies mentioned and came to much the same conclusion. Currently I am contemplating ImprovMX (https://improvmx.com) which could provide an SMTP server and allow those domains to... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
You can try an MX forwarding service like https://improvmx.com I use it when I left gsuite. It lets you forward the emails to any free or paid service. I have my domain pointing to a @gmail.com account while my mom has hers pointing to @outlook.com. If you pay $9 (total) you get SMTP servers and more domains, etc. (though the free tier is plenty generous already. Look into it. it's a great service. let's you move... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
I'm not sure if I understand your use-case, but if you want forward emails from a whole domain to your (private) address there is https://improvmx.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Move to gmail with everything you have on your gsuite + use email forwarding service with smtp like https://improvmx.com . There are other email forwarding services but some of them don't have smtp service or support smaller email attachment than gmail (like forwardmx.com) so it may cause incoveniences.
