  My ipad air 1st gen is not connecting to icloud. I can log into icloud.com under my apple id email address. It indicates that I am on icloud web-only. When I get into my ipad settings>name there are email addresses for iCloud and Store under my picture.   Go to icloud.com/find, select your phone, put it in lost mode [requires a new passcode]. Once that is enabled, use the new passcode to unlock [meaning removing the icloud lock]. Once you have removed the icloud lock, does it allow you to input regular passcode? - Source: Reddit / 6 days ago

  If your files are missing in icloud first you can check the "recently deleted" folder in icloud drive, but I'm sure you've already done that The only thing you can do after that is to go to icloud.com, log in and scroll to the bottom, there you can find a button on the bottom right of the page called "Data recovery", in there you can recover some more files :D if they arent there anymore they are definitly gone... - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
