- Get a bicycle. Auction sites have them for $10-$50 (Check hibid.com for local auctions)and you can always replace it or repair it if it fails at a low cost. This serves 2 purposes. It will help you SAVE more money by no uber'ing to work, you should never uber to a minimum wage job. Secondly it will help you feel better by offering a small amount of exercise every day you go to work. If you work 10 miles away,... Source: 11 months ago

Literally right now there are a ton of buses for auction on hibid.com. Just search for "bus" and set the category to cars and automobiles (or whatever it is, I forget). Source: almost 1 year ago
I'm not sure about other sites, but on auctions on hibid, you can search nationwide or statewide. Just go to hibid.com or (your state).hibid.com (for example wisconsin.hibid.com). Source: about 1 year ago
My apologies. I've never used Imgur before. I've updated the post to show the entire framed piece (front and back). Please see the updated link. It was purchased off of the hibid.com website. Source: about 1 year ago
Not sure where u're located. But I use hibid for Amazon returns on 3d printers and such. Last Ender 3 I got was $65. Last 3v2 was $170. N that was the most expensive one I got from them. No warranty, but all but 1 have been brand new sealed in the box still. I do local pickup as they're only 30 minutes away. Might be worth taking a look at. I'm up to 6 printers now with a spare still the box. Cheers! Source: about 1 year ago
As for others. Honestly I'd try selling them, or make up new wires for them or see if one's available on ebay or depending on where you are you can try HiBid and pick up Amazon return printer for a lot cheaper than new. Source: about 1 year ago
I browse and occasionally purchase stuff from local auctions. hibid.com has 7 currently up for auction within 50 miles of Vancouver. Source: about 1 year ago

1) There are tons of free/cheap couches you can find. Check out estate sales (hibid.com is a good place to start), FB marketplace, etc. If you're patient you can find lightly used sofas/couches for next to nothing. If you're too squeamish for used furniture, you can find "okay" cheap couches on Wayfair or at your local furniture stores for about half of what you're planning to spend. These won't be heirloom... HiBid also has many auctions with local pickup. You can search auctions by state, zip code, etc. Https://hibid.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Then just wait 100 days to buy the furniture. Or wait 40 days, buy loveseat, wait another 60 days, buy sofa. This is not an emergency purchase. Go on FB marketplace or a local auction/estate sale site like hibid.com and buy a chair or two in the mean time. When I was in grad school in a similar situation with roommates, the rule was first 3 people in the room got the couch, 4th got an upside down 5 gallon bucket.... Source: over 1 year ago
No problem! I sell vintage so I basically thrift for a living -- there isn't always good stuff at thrift stores, but every now and again you can score. Also check estate sales, estate auctions (hibid.com for ones in your area) and FB marketplace. Maybe there's a yarn exchange sub, but if so I don't know about it. Source: over 1 year ago
There's also a website, hibid.com that does estate sale auctions. I've gotten some pretty great deals with a bonus of not having to get up at 8AM on a Sunday to go to an auction you might not find anything you like at. Source: over 1 year ago
Try hibid.com its great for stuff you need. Mostly amazon returns. Source: over 1 year ago
I browse hibid.com regularly and encountered this auction for 118 items. Everyone from George Washington to Abraham Lincoln to Babe Ruth to Albert Einstein and the Beatles. The Marilyn Monroe autograph is of such low quality as to be invisible. Others are impossibly bold or inexplicable (the lyrics of Light My Fire written out and signed by Jim Morrison?). One of the Ty Cobb autographs appears to be written in the... Source: over 1 year ago
