However, I'm getting stuck at finding a replacement for the web app. You see, I hate phones (nothing personal, and it'd be much better if my phone had a full mechanical keyboard built-in but physics won't allow it), so I type all my stuff on the computer using contacts.google.com and calendar.google.com -> it's synched to my phone and I can check it there (plus, notifications!). So in order to get rid of Google,... Source: 4 months ago
Usually contacts are synced to Google contacts. They will be automatically loading. If not, check https://contacts.google.com. Source: 9 months ago
The contacts for your google account are synced to Google contacts. https://contacts.google.com which is linked to your Gmail account. Source: 9 months ago
If it's a personal one, go to contacts.google.com and remove the contacts from there. You can also remove them from the Contacts app if you're syncing contacts with Google, but just going to the website is more straightforward for removing them from the cloud. Source: 9 months ago
My wife said her contacts disappeared on her 6a this morning. They were definitely still there on contacts.google.com so it must be a syncing issue. Told her to wait it out. Created a contact backup just in case. Source: 10 months ago
Go here It should have all your contacts there. It's only a matter of moving them all back to the phone. Source: 10 months ago
So I fixed it... Went to contacts.google.com, there I've selected all my contacts and added new label to them (so that something changed), all contacts appeared on my phone after refresh (pull down on contact list). Source: 10 months ago
Same here ... All contacts are on contacts.google.com but not on phone ? WTF Google ? Source: 10 months ago
Today I suddenly lost all the contacts on my phone. Only four remained. The VERY strange thing is that if I log in with my account on https://contacts.google.com/ I see almost all my contacts (not all of them though, I see about 100 out of 400-something). If I look at the 'contacts' app I only see 4. If I go to gmail from pc and on the bar on the right I click contacts I only see those famous 4. I've tried... Source: 10 months ago
I went to contacts.google.com where I could see my contacts and exported all as a vCard file (Google CSV doesn't work, ironically). Source: 10 months ago
Go to https://contacts.google.com/ - sign in if necessary. Source: 10 months ago
If you have a working phone, you can export the local contacts as a .VCF file that you can read a) on your new phone or b) online into your Google account https://contacts.google.com . This requires a working phone from which you can create the file and send it or save it somewhere. Source: 10 months ago
My current setup is using web Whatsapp and I would login to contacts.google.com to add a contact, go back to my phone and sync contacts under the account manager using my gmail account. One day to the next and now Gmail won't sync to my whatsapp contacts. If I search that name through my phone contacts I can see them but not with Whatsapp contacts. Source: 10 months ago
You can open the contacts app and see if his contacts have some label that allows you to distinguish them from your own contacts. That may also give you a way of getting rid of them. Barring that, you can go to contacts.google.com, and use a browser on a computer (bigger screen is the main advantage) to try and clean up your contacts. Somehow, it looks like his contacts got added to your contacts, not sure how... Source: 10 months ago
Before, I could search for a name of a Google Contact e.g. "Cindy," "Michael," etc on Google Maps and their address would show up. Now, that is no longer the case, both on my computer and on my phone. Now, when I search up one of these names, all that shows up is businesses with that name. I've verified that my Google Contacts are all still there (on contacts.google.com) and that their addresses are still there, too. Source: 10 months ago
Using the consumer version of Google Voice, my contacts have disappeared from the box in Voice. Note that the contacts themselves still exist on contacts.google.com, they're just missing from voice.google.com. The history is still on the left, but the right just has a blank space above the keypad. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Source: 10 months ago
Https://contacts.google.com may be useful if it's specifically the sync that doesn't work. Source: 11 months ago
Do you see your missing contacts at https://www.icloud.com/contacts and/or https://contacts.google.com ? Source: 11 months ago
We sync them using the google profile. In the past everyone that gets a phone gets a "personalised" google account. And I would go to contacts.google.com and upload a csv file with every employees name, job and phone number and do this for every user. This is a terrible way to do it, but it worked... I believe that the contacts are saved in a different way when using ActiveSync, not necessarily in contacts.google.com. I would recommend trying to reactivate one or two users in ActiveSync and see if this clears it up. Source: 12 months ago
Therefor, go to contacts.google.com and edit who is in your contacts down to who you want to receive out of office response. Source: about 1 year ago
