There are a few jobs that specifically look for Canva designers, so it's also good to have that skill on your sleeves. I have to admit tho that I only have used Canva twice for a project but that's also because I didn't have the need to use it.   I would use sites that generate practice creative briefs (like this, there are probably better ones for motion specifically though https://goodbrief.io/) and try and create some work that way.
