  • This keeps popping up. How do I get rid of this?
Download and unzip Geek Uninstaller > right-click geek.exe > Run as administrator > scroll down the list > double-click McAfee to uninstall it. - Source: Reddit / 2 days ago
  • uninstall CCleaner error - help
My advice is to download the CCleaner installer and run it to overwrite the current installation. Then download and unzip Geek Uninstaller, right-click geek.exe > Run as administrator > double-click the CCleaner entry in the list. Geek Uninstaller will uninstall CCleaner and the scan for the CCleaner leftovers that are safe to remove. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago
  • Merge, organize and dedupe (many hard drives to one)
Together with BleachBit and Geek Uninstaller are the go-to tools in my upkeep routine. You don't need those but just mentioning them. - Source: Reddit / 9 days ago
  • Any ideas on what this 437GB application could be? I'm afraid it is some sort of virus
You could perhaps try Geek Uninstaller to uninstall it... - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
  • Do you occasionally reinstall a clean Windows, "Just because..."?
3rd party uninstallers are a thing that can help a bit if you wish to do full removal. I remember liking GeekUninstaller in the past. Small footprint and did not mess anything up while being fairly reliable with detecting folders/reg keys. Nowadays though I prefer to just use portable versions so all data is kept in single folder and once a year clean up AppData manually. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • I can’t uninstall this game
Manually remove it or use a free tool like https://www.bcuninstaller.com/ or https://geekuninstaller.com/. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • I've managed to get synapse to download, but when it tries to start up I get this CMD prompt then it fails. Any way to fix this?
I've only ever used Synapse 2, and don't have any Razer hardware at the moment. I would suggest using Geek Uninstaller first, as it can remove registry entries and junk files as well. Then reinstall Synapse with a fresh download. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
  • Does anyone know how to fully uninstall a game? I'm talking a full wipe as if the game was never on your computer to begin with. Thanks.
Geek uninstaller. Works wonders and cleans up everything left over after a normal uninstall. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
  • OCD with computers or other electronics?
Btw. I can recommend you to download Geek Uninstaller. It's a tiny program which doesn't require installation (just a single *.exe file) which scans for leftover traces and registry files when using it to unistall programs. It has helped my ocd a lot on this point, but it sadly has created a new one too. Now I fear I remove too much and make the system unstable, so I always check the list before pressing delete. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
  • Frustrating cmd prompt window keeps popping up causing fullscreen apps/games to minimize.
So - this isn't normal behavior for Firefox, popping up cmd windows at random. Consider backing up the places.sqlite file, located in C:\Users\M_____a\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default-release. This is the combined bookmarks and history file. Uninstall Firefox, preferably with Geek Uninstaller (right-click geek.exe, run as admin) to remove all Firefox traces. Reinstall Firefox, open it,... - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
  • I was stupid and deleted the game files instead of running the uninstall. Is it still taking up space and if so how can i remove it?
Use the app called Geek uninstaller, it can force remove and delete left over files https://geekuninstaller.com/. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
  • Virus, Malware, or Windows Update?
See if you can remove it with Geek Uninstaller. Download and unzip it, right-click geek.exe > Run as administrator. If it isn't on the first list, go to View > Windows Store apps. Double-click the offending entry and let the uninstaller do its thing. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
  • dumb question, but is there any negative effect of directly deleting the folder of a pirated game instead of properly uninstalling it from the apps section or from the uninstaller in the folder
When you do that it will leave some left over files in the system, such as the system will still think its installed but when you go to uninstall it can fail. I use geek uninstaller and it gets rid of all sorts of left over files, it works better than uninstaller normaller and/or simply just deleting the files https://geekuninstaller.com/. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
  • Can't uninstall bettle.net completely
Did you look in the Games folder? Get Everything, search for Battle. Download Geek Uninstaller. Unzip it, right-click geek.exe > Run as administrator. Check the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
  • How will I know what programs to install after a fresh install of Windows 10?

+1 for u/QP_marketnetwork and Geek Uninstaller. Portable. Unzip it, right-click > run as admin. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago

Download Geek Uninstaller > unzip it > right-click geek.exe - Run as administrator > click View tab > select Windows Store Apps > double-click Snip & Sketch > click Okay to remove the leftovers > restart computer. If you ever want it back, go to the Microsoft Store and search Snipping Tool. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
  • iTunes app doesn't want to open.
Download and unpack Geek Uninstaller. right-click the .exe > run as admin > uninstall iTunes. It will then scan for and remove the bits that are probably messing it up. Then get iTunes from Apple, not the Microsoft Store. Scroll down to "Looking for other versions?" > Windows here - https://www.apple.com/itunes/. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
  • Select server issue
Don't know if this would help but I usually use GEEK UNINSTALLER. And no, I'm not sponsored! LOL! - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago
