I don't think there are native gestures in qtile. I use fusuma, since it works better for me on X11 and wayland, but I've also used libinput-gestures in the past when on X11, and that works too. Source: 7 months ago
I'm new to linux, running last version of ubuntu MATE. Tried to get fusuma to have a better experience with my touchpad (I'm using hp notebook). I followed the whole guide for ubuntu on the Github page, created the config.yml using these two commands:. Source: 8 months ago
For info, I've been using Fusuma to configure my touchpad gestures and it is awesome! Source: 11 months ago
Https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma this might do the job? I have been using it on Hyprland and, despite the downside of being in Ruby, it works really well and seems stable. Source: 12 months ago
I use Fusuma to manage gestures and have deactivated the COSMIC gestures extension. Source: 12 months ago
The gestures are interpretations of the touch signals that the trackpad provides, and those signals are available to your computer. The gestures and their functions are features of the operating system, but you can define your own gesture with tools like https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma. Are you mad that the Magic Trackpad does not come with a full set of gesture support for Mint, Gnome, i3, or any of the gosh... Source: 12 months ago
Thx! I actually looked at this, but it only can emulate shortcuts pressing, as I get it. Instead I tried https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma which has more features and works perfectly with Hyprland. Source: about 1 year ago

It does. You just need to use ydotool instead of xdotool as described here: https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma. Source: over 1 year ago
I have installed Fusuma to get touchpad gestures on my laptop. I added my username to the input group and did as written on the page. After install, it worked fine and I made a config for linux mint and exited fusuma so that it took the new config. Now when I try to start fusuma again I'm getting permission problems for some reason. Source: over 1 year ago
As somebody else mentioned KDE has a bit more options when it comes to mouse gestures, it's probably possible to do that in Xfce too, you might need an extra package. Maybe something like this: https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma (haven't tested it, just I saw somebody recommended for multi-touch gestures). Source: over 1 year ago
But this is not possible to do in touchegg since each repetition of the gesture its is whole command, an alternative is fusuma when you can set an action at the beginning of the gesture, between updates, an at the end, there is an example of exactly this ), the downside is that it doesn't have an easy to use GUI to set it up, or fancy animations to go along with the gestures, but it's more powerful. You could install Touchegg or Fusuma. GNOME uses Touchegg for the gestures. Source: over 1 year ago
You should be able to do it with Fusuma. Source: over 1 year ago
I like using fusuma. It has also has some really great plugins (like context, which you can use to make gestures for different apps). If you use it as your only gesture manager, make sure to disable all other gestures set by default, or else they'll conflict. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma Requires fusuma, ruby, libtools, xdotool and some other stuff, all included in the link. Source: over 1 year ago
Three-finger gestures work on the Linux installation of my Fusion 15. I used Fusuma to configure them. Source: over 1 year ago
Fusuma: I like that you can map keys with a YAML file. Source: almost 2 years ago
I think fusuma might do the work (https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma). Source: almost 2 years ago
Maybe Fusuma could be something for you, configuration is similar. There is also a GitHub Repo of course. Source: about 2 years ago
There are many options for this 1. Libinput gestures 2. Touchegg which has a GUI called Touché 3. Fusuma. Source: about 2 years ago
