  • PHOTOBANK - Which one to choose?
Hello, could you recommend a good "photobank"? Either one that is free such as "", or if it is supposed to be a paid photobank so that it works without a monthly subscription! Simply, if I like the image, I will buy it and not pay the site every month. (preferably a website where I can use images also for commercial use and not just for personal use). - Source: Reddit / 16 days ago

I know places like dafonts have free fonts but wondering what about paid fonts? Also fonts that have already filter in them (for photoshop / illustrator etc). • Sites like shutterstock reccomendations?
I'm currently using which I'm on the paid plan, but wondering is this kind of in the middle of what else is out there? Just wondering if I should add another one (or just one is sufficient). Seems shutterstock is most priciest. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
  • Please Read!! Seeking Editor/Mod!
P.S - You don't need a logo to start, but if u really think u need one, get a free one off wix logo maker, or just download one from a site like or any other site like that. But I recommend just starting and seeing if it's actually something you can do good at. Remember, as a streamer *you are the brand* not your logo, logos are something big corporations use because there isn't any singular face... - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
  • I made a logo for an esports team called The Infamous Asteroids. It was a randomly generated name. I made a moodboard for the first time ever. It really helped a lot. My first idea was an astronaut helmet. Which I didn't really like. So, I did an asteroid enjoyyyy.
The asteroid is a good illustration but that's all this really has going for it. The fire text is not legible; just find a font and write the whole name, don't abbreviate it. I'd just get rid of your current stars and find some already made free to use vector stars off It'll look better and save you a ton of time and hassle. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago

  • Any advices on how to chose an appropriate background for logos ?
    2) Chose an appropriate background that has something to do with the company. Even if it is a fake company you certainly have an idea of what it does. For example, wood if it is a carpenter. You may find free images on or similar sites. But a logo may be presented flat or you chose to create mockups where there are thousands of templates online. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago

  • Portfolio Projects
I follow SOM and I think they do good work. I've even considered taking one of their courses. That said, I can spot projects that were created in their courses a mile away. I'm not saying they're bad, just that it's obvious. This is something to consider when looking for a job as a motion designer. My advice to you, would be to come up with some project ideas of your own, and build them out to add to your... - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago

  • Prospective New Board Game Designer. Where can I find artists/graphic designers for my board game?
If you're still prototyping, you might be well served to find placeholder art for now. There is a lot of free clip art and icons available for board games. Try looking at There's also, which is an amazing resource for SVG and PNG icons.
