  I believe the Fraps tool has a screenshot feature.   But if mods are somehow interfering with you being able to [Alt]+[Tab] or use something like Bandicam or OBS in the background, Fraps might not work either.   I've configured my game options to capture screenshots without the UI. Whenever I need to capture the UI, I use a third party software to do it. Fraps can set up hotkeys of your choice on Windows.   Also recording settings affect the amount of resource required. Afaik fraps works very well with low end systems. OBS is another option but it is heavier than fraps.
