  • Using extra Firefox profiles to make my life better
I use https://color.firefox.com/ to differentiate. It's a solid theming system that they built a few years ago, promoted for about a week and then never mentioned again. Probably because they'd rather promote their braindead self-destructing themes (sorry, 'Colorways drops'). - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • Firefox Color and flashing original theme on start
Or Save your Firefox Color theme as .XPI 1) Go to https://color.firefox.com/ 2) Click the Export icon at the top right 3) Click Next 4) Type in any name for your theme and click Next. 5) You can now save your Firefox Color theme as theme.xpi. If you want you can then submit it to the Firefox Add-ons Marketplace. Source: 10 months ago
  • Come on Mozilla, even Edge, the browser owned by a company who will remove customization if you looks at them funny, allows you to put your own wallpaper in your browser!
I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do, but have you tried Color? Https://color.firefox.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Where can I get back the themes from the colorways?
Colorways was always going to be temporary I'm afraid. Not sure anyone saved the custom themes for it, but I recommend checking out https://color.firefox.com/ (which isn't going anywhere), setting up a theme (you can start from a preset), and saving it. Works like a charm. Source: about 1 year ago

  • How do I change the color of the search bar and how do the same to the shortcut icons? I'm also interested in knowing if it's possible to make the grey part of the shortcut icons transparent.
Easiest way to change colors in the toolbar area would be to install a theme that has colors you like. Alternatively, if you want a bit more control then there is https://color.firefox.com/. You can also do this with CSS but changing colors is literally what themes are for. Source: over 1 year ago
  • holy shit why didn't I switch sooner
If you really want to go nutty = https://color.firefox.com/ <========. Source: over 1 year ago

I ended up using https://color.firefox.com/ and editing(ricing) the KDE Theme. Coming from Windows I'm pleasantly surprised how robust theming is under Linux. [Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/kYdmMrP.png). Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Why Mozilla refuses to fix the contrast of selected tab
Why not just change the theme it uses? There are decent contrasts in the Colorways section in themes and if those don't work for you, you can easily make your own with https://color.firefox.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • New colorways?
Who ruined >third-party< themes? When did that happen? AMO is full of themes, use https://color.firefox.com/ to create your own. Source: about 2 years ago
