I use the free Faithlife Study Bible (free online/web, or through the Logos app—both are really nice as biblical references pop up ... You don't have to search for them). And I, as well as a lot of people, really like the BibleProject's overview videos of each book (here's their overview YouTube page). They also have other videos. Source: over 2 years ago
