Https://ecologi.com/ does a subscription which allows you to donate to tree planting and carbon reduction schemes across the world. It's supposedly enough to make you carbon negative. I'd take that with a pinch of salt but it's definitely better than nothing. I think there are similar services out there but this is the one I use. Source: over 1 year ago
Currently the best option I have found is to pay a monthly suscription to Ecologi. This is a dead easy option, but from what I can tell they plant a relatively non-biodiverse range of species primarily localised in Africa. It would be amazing to have a couple more options to take forward, especially if they are global as we have offices in each continent. Source: almost 2 years ago

If you can, donate to organizations like Ecologi, or Climeworks, which are working on carbon sinking and avoidance. It's not much, but whenever I feel helpless, I give a bit more. Source: almost 2 years ago
They've partnered with Ecologi, who will plant the trees. They seem to plant trees in various locations around the world, as well as doing other projects to stop CO2 emission. Source: almost 2 years ago
I use Ecologi: https://ecologi.com/ Nice and simple to use, supports projects around the world. Source: about 2 years ago
Https://climeworks.com and https://ecologi.com seems reliable. The first is direct capture, the second is a variety of projects. Source: about 2 years ago

I do: 1. Run a small solar array on my balcony, with recycled lithium batteries for storage. I've made ~100kW of power which I use to basically charge all my devices. 2. Growing Algae two do two things- producing biomass to convert into bio-fuel down the road, and remove carbon from the air. Rooftop solar & going electric (and destroying your gas car so you're taking it off the road) is the easiest to do, followed... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Alrighty, I know it doesn't sound like much. And its gonna sound like a huuuuuuge plug. But give Ecologi a go. Source: over 2 years ago
Ecosia.org & Treeapp (UK only I believe) are free ways to get planting trees. Onetreeplanted.org charge $1 per tree and have multiple locations. Edenproject.org are the planting partners for many carbon offsetting programmes and you can donate to them directly. There are many monthly subscriptions like ecologi.com that plant tree and fund green tech programmes. Source: over 2 years ago
Someone recently told me that I could make a Β£5 donation to plant a tree in the UK with the Woodland Trust (https://www.worldlandtrust.org/appeals/plant-a-tree/). Someone else told me that Ecologi (https://ecologi.com/) is a for-profit (although seemingly transparent) company where you can subscribe to have a set number of trees planted and carbon offset and you can also make a one off purchase/donation to plant... The good folk at https://ecologi.com, a tree planting and offsetting company are looking to expand their Climate Committee. The committee meets monthly for an hour to select what climate projects are the most impactful, and should receive funding from their subscribers. Source: almost 3 years ago
Hi, Jonathan here, founder of the RaaS (Reforestation as a Service) at DigitalHumani.com https://ecologi.com/ is great! Whatever works for you. Montly payments, Continuous Reforestation, donation to reforestation organizations, etc. Let's plant billions of trees. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
I don't get the point. Why not just send monthly payments to a programme like Ecologi (https://ecologi.com/)? Of course, if you can convince people who you can't convince otherwise, this is helpful too. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
