    You can change the scaling by going to System Preferences > Displays > Scaled and choosing one of the options there. Apple, however, does not allow you to increase the resolution beyond a certain scale factor without using third party tools If you’re interested in using a resolution not found in System Preferences, you’ll have to use a third party tool like SwitchResX or EasyRes.
