Check out yt-dlp if you are good with command-line-based software, otherwise check out deturl for a web-based solution or the Video DownloadHelper browser extension. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
How do you download from YouTube? Are you using an app, or a website like http://deturl.com/? - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
Try out some of the stuff on http://deturl.com/ - might be a bit outdated by now but you may find something useful. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
The newer livestreams are on youtube still but unlisted, I'm also trying to download and archive them all too, I only have a few so far but if anyone has the links to older episodes in their email or something that would be awesome. Here's what I have, you can download them from youtube with deturl.com I'll upload the ones that I don't have youtube links for to mega. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
If you want to speak/sing/etc. Over something that's posted to YouTube, your best bet is to rip the YouTube video to a local file with something like the online tools at http://deturl.com or a local installation of the youtube-dl software. Then you can bring that ripped file into Audacity and work with it that way. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
Alternately, you can directly download files from YouTube with either the online tools available at deturl or by installing the excellent youtube-dl software to your own computer. Any audio or video files you get this way can be opened and edited in Audacity, without the additional generation of quality loss you'd have from just recording your computer's output while YouTube is playing. - Source: Reddit / about 2 years ago
