  • To Delay Death, Lift Weights
I like to do HIIT with body weight. Admittedly, I've been off the wagon for awhile, but this site kept things interesting for me: https://darebee.com. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

  • Hobby ideas
Darebee is a great resource for free at home exercises. I’ve worked with personal trainers to great results but I still use a lot of resources from that site to get a light exercise in on days I feel like crap or I’m so dang tight or spastic I can’t do more. Source: 4 months ago
  • How do I convince my wife to weight train?
As a 36F, nearing 40, I have been reading and listening to more information about working out at this age and a lot of studies have found weight training to be far more beneficial as you age and cardio actually less helpful and causes more stress to your body. If she likes cardio, maybe have her try some Metcons that use weights too. It’s like lifting weights, but faster lol. DAREBEE is a great source! Try looking... Source: 10 months ago

  • My friends keeps taking parts of food from my lunch at school. I feel like I’m overreacting and being greedy.
I'd also add that Darebee.com has a huge selection of free workout "cards" online. The site is free (not for profit) well done (started by a personal trainer in California) and has a huge range of (almost all equipment free) workouts and challenges, including for people just starting out. It's a great way to get active and have variety. They also have nutritional information and other considerations on the site... Source: 12 months ago
  • If you only had 3 months to get in the best physical shape of your life, what would you do?
For myself, I like to mix things up fitness-wise and would rather do something recreationally as my main high impact activity. Gym settings are not for me anymore. Used to be at the gym 2-3x a week or with a personal training group at the park plus weekly run club. The local running store in town has a free club for members so that was pretty cool. These days my fitness is mostly martial arts studio 2x a week, and... Source: about 1 year ago

Hey man! I know the struggle. Though I wasn't quite as heavy as you I was still pretty large, especially for my country. I have issues with my spine and my neck is super sensitive to pressure so I might have a very rough idea of the problem. Still, everyone is different so I'm not entirely sure what might work for you and what not, But I do recommend the website darebee.com as they have loads of exercise programs...
