Unfortunately ctemplar.com is shutting down - which is why I'm looking for a viable alternative. I've stumbled upon cyberfear in the process but have some questions. Source: almost 2 years ago

Is there a shortcut for the ctemplar.com like there is in protomail.com > pm.me ? Source: about 2 years ago
None. I would look into ctemplar.com. They have an onion address (that actually works unlike Protonmail), accept XMR, they don't use third party analytics or trackers, only use temporary cookies, they are based on Iceland, etc. Source: about 2 years ago

In this situation, I do have a "padlock icon" on some non-onion websites such as ctemplar.com or protonmail.com Does it mean my login and password are truly safe (no dirty play by an evil exit node) ? Does it not mean anything? Now, if I go directly to an equivalent .onion website of protonmail or ctemplar, there is no padlock icon. Is it less safe? Is in more safe because no exit node is in the play at all? Source: over 2 years ago
