  • Advice for an exchange student seeking accommodation.
I am starting to diversify my options, and perhaps find a regular flat/apartment to rent outside of student residences. I have come across a few websites like rentals.ca, realtor.ca & zumper.com but I am not sure how reliable they are and I am seeking for some advice from a more native viewpoint? What would you guys use to look for flats/apartments/studios, etc.? And by this point, I am also open to renting a... Source: 6 months ago
  • Housing question?
According to zumper.com the average 3 bedroom in Kamloops is $2800 per month. How anybody affords that, I don't know. Source: 9 months ago
  • how are bachelor's apartments in Hamilton?
Check zumper.com and see what's available and pricing. Source: 10 months ago
  • A room in Beijing for ¥1000/mth. And you complain about Toronto.
The average income in toronto is say 100,000 a yr (an extremely positive view based on an 85K median figure I found), and a room costs 1000-1900 as per zumper.com. Source: 11 months ago
  • My Experience Yesterday With 911
The average 1 bedroom rent is $1760 a month, according to zumper.com. To afford an average 1 bedroom apartment in Denver and not be rent-burdened, you need an income of $5280 (heh) a month. $3541.66 a month supports a rent of no more than $1180 a month. RentCafe says that less than 1% of apartments are available at less than $1k a month, and while they don't have a breakdown for $1200 a month, they do say that... Source: about 1 year ago

  • Moving to the OKC area
I dont know what your skills and experience levels are, but Target and Costco pay over $15 an hr, also Hobby Lobby. Pricewise you could be as low as $800 or so up to whatever really, depends on a lot of factors, what part of town do you want to be in or what do you want to be near, nightlife/restaurant high activity parts of town or more suburby/residential, near the college campus, etc. I'd say just go to... • Lease Termination
I did use htpads.c which helped with rentals as well as Zillo and apartments.com some places waved the realtor fee but none that I was personally looking at. I am noticing that there are a lot of rights for tenants if you look around. I wish you the best and hope you could find a place within the anticipated time. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What condos are good for rent near downtown?
I'm looking via hotpads.com, but if there's a better way to discover condos, please let me know! :). Source: over 1 year ago
  • how do i find a place that doesnt require my income to be 3x the rent? i live in maryland, and ik that i could budget a place up to 1.2k, as well as utilities and leftover disposable income. everywhere online requires rent to only be 1/3 of ur income though and there's literally nowhere that cheap
Look for small private landlords instead of big buildings. Condos, small apartment buildings, basement apartments, that kind of thing. Sometimes they won't have that policy at all, or if they do you might be able to talk to them about being flexible on it, maybe giving them something else to prove that you're responsible. I'm in DC so I know the struggle. I've found things like this on hotpads.com, craigslist, and... Source: over 1 year ago

First suggestions is to call local apartment buildings in your area to see about vacancy. Other places were vacant apartments may be is rent.com, apartments.com, and zillow.com. If you need to rent two rooms in a house for the time being you can try hotpads.com, roomster.com, and spareroom.com.
