I use ZoneMinder for my cameras and it integrates into HA without much hasstle, you can't point and click like many of the other integrations but the config isn't difficult. Source: 9 months ago

In the past I've used https://manycam.com/ to select virtual cameras as an input source as if it's a stand alone, usb camera. it's the only way I know how to do anything like that at all, good luck! Source: almost 3 years ago
