The buzzer helps you to record your working hours across projects in real-time. The desktop app (available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux) will open as soon as you touch the buzzer. You're welcome! I use Timeular (https://timeular.com), which I really like because it works with a cube that controls the timer. You roll it around and the side up is the timing category. I find the feedback of a physical object very useful. I've also used Toggl, which is feature rich, works great as a Chrome extension, and has tons of integrations.
