  • M2 Mac Mini 8GB.
In addition to all the suggestions others have had around mac products, you may also be able to get your feet wet with some virtual cloud-based max solutions. MacinCloud and XcodeClub are both fairly inexpensive. Thereโ€™s also MacStadium, but theyโ€™re quite a bit more expensive. Iโ€™ve been using Lunatask for several months and itโ€™s been really helpful, but in my heart Iโ€™m still a 137 Post-It on my desk kinda guy. Source: 11 months ago
  • Suggest some good foss notes taking and todo list apps.
I will never stop recommending Lunatask when it comes to task management. It also has note taking functionality, but I personally use Standard Notes for that. Source: 12 months ago

Projects and references: Bundled Notes. 1) It has the best UX I ever had on Android 2) Using kanbans to manage projects is simple and fast 3) Save info with a lot of clickable tags is a nice way of filtering content for references.
