The 6 Best Free PowerPoint Alternatives in 2022
Prezi, like Google Slides, is a web-based presentation tool that means it retains an element of accessibility that is lost with Keynote. Prezi’s great strength is animation. It is not a platform for the creatively faint-hearted. But, if you have the vision and the skills, it is possible to produce visually stunning presentations that will “wow” your audience much more than a...
Top 25 SlideShare Alternatives To Create & Share Online Presentations
Prezi got their start by being able to create an awesome viewing experience for the people you present for back when PowerPoint did not have built-in online presentation capabilities. It is still a great choice if you want to do just that, and you get a nice interface where you can manage your slides, as well as select who you want to share them with.

The 13 Best Presentation Apps in 2018
Tired of standard slideshows? Prezi is anything but that. It's more like a mindmap, with a large canvas that contains your entire presentation. You can have large graphics that connect everything—perhaps a galaxy, city map, ocean ecosystem, or detailed graph—with your points and graphics nested inside. The presentation starts zoomed out to give the big picture, then Prezi...

  • Maybe I'm a cynic but...
The study used short stories by Roald Dahl, Agatha Christie, John Updike, Anton Chekov, that maxed out at 4,000 words, which would take less than an hour to read. Source: 11 months ago

I go by word count rather than page in order to determine playing length. Something like this can be helpful. https://wordstotime.com/. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Rust Language Cheat Sheet
Some quick stats - wordcounter.net says the cheatsheet currently has 17735 words. https://wordstotime.com/ tells me that it would take me 2 hours and 16 minutes to read the whole thing. The cheatsheet contains a lot of external links and the like, so we can probably make that 2 hours. Still, that is a lot of heavily condensed text to read, for a cheatsheet. • Help deleting personal information from Prezi
Hello fellow privacy enthusiasts, a very long time ago used Prezi for creating slides for a school presentations. I am able to find back to these as they contain my name. I would very much like to have these deleted, but I do not know the account that was used to create this as it was back in 2014. Source: 11 months ago
  • LPT: PowerPoint slides should be simple and concise. When giving a presentation, no one cares about the wall of elegant text you created.
If the speaker is able to use notes that aren't the slide (they're not relying on the slides being shown to the audience to be their own speaker notes), then I use the theory that the slides should provide "context, not content", except for specific details that someone might want to take down in their notes or have access to later, such as a citation. Otherwise, it's all about context, which of course includes... Source: 11 months ago
  • LPT: Presentation slides are supposed to be simple and brief. Nobody is going to read your wall of fancy text when you give your presentation.
Use the notes area of a slide to provide the details. If you share the deck or look back on it later the details of what was covered is there but it will help you keep the main presentation clean. There are also tools like highnote.io and prezi.com that can help you structure your presentations very well. Source: 11 months ago
  • Which website do you guys use for templates and icon repositories?
I have heard that platforms like canva, highnote.io and prezi.com presentations are pretty good. They have really modern outlooks and they have a large library of free content. Their licensing terms are relatively generous as well. What do you use? Source: 12 months ago
  • What software do you use to make presentations?
If you want a really flashy presentation, Prezi is another one that no one's mentioned yet. Source: about 1 year ago
