  Ive used WatchMe by https://flamebrain.com/ for years. Its much faster and easier to keep up with tracking time. I track down do the min and add notes when needed. Used all the major ticket systems and its still the most efficient. And yes I record the time it takes to enter tickets. Its free but the donation version has some great features.   3.The only way I've come across to document the amount of time spent is to use timesheets or time tracking softwares. Some examples of time tracking softwares are Toggl, Hubstaff, and Time Doctor.
