  • Move to toronto
I would look on realtor.ca or an easier user interface would be condos.ca. Then look at walkscore.com at that point if you don't see a match for price and size to amenity, you'll know what the landscape is best. Source: 9 months ago
  • Could I survive in GR without a car until next spring?
It depends on what neighborhood. If you're just going off of walkscore.com, etc, even though the city itself only gets a 56, many neighborhood are in the mid-high 80s. (East hills, Eastown, Midtown, etc). Source: 10 months ago
  • Family tired of the suburbs, thinking of moving to the city
Perhaps look at walkscore.com also to assess the areas you are considering. Source: 11 months ago
  • Is the Pearl District Safe?
Keep in mind that those top 10 types of lists are driven by advertisers and are highly subjective. If finances are a consideration, there are MANY very walkable neighborhoods that are far lower cost of living. Use walkscore.com as a starting point. Source: 12 months ago
  • LA Times Column: California’s population is on the decline, and high-income earners have joined the exodus
Not owning a car really helped me save enough to buy a house in an old streetcar district. The weather is (usually) great so most trips are made via transit or bike. We're still car-free in our mid-50s. Try walkscore.com to find neighborhoods over 80. Ours gets a 91. Source: about 1 year ago

Dear All, my wife and I are planning to move to Boston and are looking for apartments in the greater Boston area. At the moment, we are still located in Germany. Therefore, we thought it might be good to first find a temporary accommodation (apartment) for 1-2 months to have some time until we find something permanent. However, we do not see any temporary offers on zillow.com, apartments.com, or... Source: 5 months ago
  • Creative ways to get "free" leads aka. referrals. Any other suggestions?
PS, I know zillow.com and realtor.com leads exist and have had success with those, but those leads can cost 35% which is insane and I'd rather pivot away from them over time. Source: 5 months ago
  • Zillow Premier Agent Cost: My Experience
I have been advertising with Zillow as a premier agent for 5 months now, and I can tell you that it is 100% a scam. I needed a new place to allocate some advertising dollars and decided to give Zillow a try. The sales rep, Lindsay Caldwell, told me the number of leads per zip I would receive (43) for the spend I was willing to do ($3,000 a month). Zillow makes you sign a 6 month contract, and I was a bit hesitant... Source: 7 months ago
  • Moving to the Bay Area (Santa Clara County) — Seeking apartment recommendations/any tips about living in the area.
Palo Alto (good, but expensive, and I've looked on apartments.com, zillow.com and Relocity app and there aren't really a lot here). Source: 8 months ago
