So far, Vivaldi is working well. It seems faster than Pale Moon, but this may be an illusion. Much better compatibility. It seems very easy to use and has good flexibility.

A comment: I have read complaints about Vivaldi in comparison to Pale Moon that Vivaldi does not have Firefox type extensions. Coming from the old Opera, I never understood the need for extensions. The desired features are built into the old Opera. This holds for Vivaldi as well. For example, Vivaldi has a session manager as an integral component and it seems superior to Firefox extension session managers. The same holds for the Quick Start feature. Also, in Pale Moon, when I put a url in the address bar of the start page, it quickly disappears. An annoying "feature", for example on Zoom sessions. In Vivaldi, it is stable ---- stays as long as I like.

I tried Vivaldi when it first came out and did not like it. But it is now greatly improved and may be the best browser for my needs.

I am an advanced Windows user and used Opera until it changed to Chrome engine. I have been using Pale Moon for the past few years and am very happy with its GUI. Unfortunately, it has always been plagued by compatibility issues. It has reached the point at which I am not looking at alternatives.

I have tried Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi. All of these except Vivaldi have unacceptable GUIs. Additionally, Brave and Opera do not allow choice of installation location, and Opera installs to a hidden location to which Windows does not allow access. so Opera and Brave are out of the running and Edge works well but has a bad GUI. That leaves Vivaldi.

I have now set up Vivaldi to my satisfaction and am trying it out. Promising so far but this juror is still out.

  • Is there is any browser which allows us to create shortcuts on the websites or is there is any add on which allow you to create shortcut for the website?
Thank You for clarifying it, yes I am exactly looking for keyboard shortcut, I have heard about Vivaldi browser that it is specially designed for users which prefer keyboard shortcut keys and advanced users, but I failed to use as I intended. If you have any idea or suggestion of how to do this specific thing which I am looking for, then do let me know. Thank You. Source: 5 months ago
