   Best way to browse your videos

   I created this software because there was no good alternative. If you want to see what videos you have on an external hard drive, and you want to see screenshots from within the video, this software has you covered.

   It now has over 900 purchases, so seems like other people like it too.

  "The problem" might be that people in this thread and others get frustrated because others have different goals than them. Of course Electron is overkill for a single-button application.   I've been so frustrated that FFprobe functionality is not part of FFmpeg. My app extracts screenshots from videos to create a beautiful gallery of videos. But even though I include FFmpeg already, I need a 50mb FFprobe executable to be bundled with my app just so that I can determine the width, height, duration, and fps of a video file!
