  • Can someone help me with this? i'm new to linux and idk if i should worry about this.
I think someone (not me; I do this too much) should file a bug report about this - here. I note that there is a corresponding message when use uses apt (or apt-get) in the terminal, except that, in the terminal, the message is tagged as a warning, whereas here it is tagged as an error - which makes the situation more serious. • Backporting mintupdate
I don't think the Mint team has said. All that the team has said, to my knowledge, is that some of the 20.2 update will be backported. One thing you could do to try to answer your question is to keep an eye upon the relevant repository. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • How do you provide functions to other employees?
"Updating applications "; yes that is exactly how it works if you can't leverage something that already does it for you, like Patch My PC. However, there are some free things that can assist--they aren't 99% automatically done for you like PatchMyPC aspires to do, but at least it's a helping hand. https://ruckzuck.tools/ comes to mind for that. There might be others out there, that's just the one I recall right... Source: about 2 years ago
  • If Apple keeps letting its software slip, the next big thing won’t matter
Just a quick shoutout to Ruckzuck (https://ruckzuck.tools/) I like it far more than Ninite and it is a good way to find some open source software that you may not have heard about or used before, quickly install the programs, and keep them up to date with only a few clicks. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
