  • Some feature suggestions for the Notion team
I came across [this site](https://transno.com/) and saw a wonderful feature - "Note to Mind Map" - that I've always wanted inside Notion. However, since Transno has been closed and discontinued, I really hope the Mind Map feature can be added to Notion itself. Instead of a table of contents all stacked together, it would be really helpful if Notion could generate an overview of a stack's contents inside a... Source: 12 months ago
  • How To Approach a Short Story?
Since I do brainstorm, I'd recommend getting your ideas out of your head into something. That's called a braindump and it's done by lots of people including those who have a lot of tasks they'd like to do. If they dump all their thoughts they may realize that they were trying many many many important things in their head. Once on paper or digital paper, they can review their ideas, play with them and brainstorm... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Any approachable Outlining resources out there?
I outline all types of things all the time. A mind map is another option since it's really a visual version of an outline. You can see that in action at https://transno.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • The Best Planner, Study Tools, and Apps for College Success
[Transno] This is an app available on the App Store as well as a web app. This is great for outlines, notes, and mind mapping. You create your notes in an outline format and it easily converts to a mind-map view. You can also share and collaborate with others. It takes a minute to get used to just like notion but they provide templates and guide you through tutorials to help you learn to navigate and use the app... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Do you use an additional tool aside from JIRA?
Admittedly, this is an issue with organization and can be solved with thorough cleanups, but I suspect that may disrupt the usual flow of non-PM people more. I am thinking of using a separate tool like craft.io or productboard.com to highlight strategies, roadmaps, cross-team initiatives, discoveries, etc. With a possible link to JIRA somehow. Has anyone ever tried this? Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Think twice before using AGE in PotgreSQL
Recently my friend at Productboard noticed an interesting bug in one of our services. For some reason our code responsible for calculating how many days our customers' features spend in certain states (Idea, Discovery, Delivery, etc) in some cases would give us wrong results. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
  • Which tools you use in your role of PM?
ProductboardProductboard helps us capture user feedback from email, Slack, Zendesk, our public-facing product portal etc. And see what users need the most. We also use it for prioritizing product objectives, release planning, roadmapping…. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: What software do you use to gather requirements?
I use ProductBoard. It's fairly expensive but pretty great. I gather requirements into PB and use the inbuilt editor to flesh them out. When a story is ready I push a button and it ends up in Trello (but you can add your own integrations; there's one for github for example). The integrations aren't perfect but I love it. Used it in my last job and brought it in at my current job. https://productboard.com. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
