I've seen a few posts about this but they're a few years old, and I wasn't sure if things may have changed. I know that data caps etc matter less these days with larger data plans. That said, I'd love some advice. The service I'm going for, transistor.fm, recommends MP3. They also recommend a max file size of 200MB. Both in mono, an MP3 version of my first episode is 38.5MB. Reason I am asking is because while Zoom can do what you ask, in the free version there is a limit to 45min. Instead I'd recommend https://zencastr.com/ which is designed for what you want to do. Source: about 1 year ago
