Improve your website speed and mobile responsiveness. Google loves websites that load fast. Make sure your pictures aren't heavy. Use apps like TinyJPG. Use the right amount of animation because too much of anything is bad. Source: 7 months ago
Extract the scanned image and resize to make it a bit smaller, then compress the images on tinyjpg.com, merge them all into one pdf file using smallpdf, finally compress the pdf file again on the same website. Source: about 1 year ago
I'd say that a proper OR recommended approach towards optimizing images for the web is to manually compress them with compression tools like TinyJPG or Squoosh before uploading them to your favorite image CDN. Why? you'd ask me. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Oh and for the file size: compressing is usually better than resizing. And your image is a PNG which is much bigger in size than a JPG and you barely notice the difference. You can use https://tinyjpg.com/ or any proper image editor for good compression or even in Wonderdraft, you can (for sharing on Reddit) better export it as a JPG and at 80% or so. How large are your images? You can save a lot of space by using https://www.iloveimg.com/compress-image All the graphic assets that come with the augur occupy less storage space than what users have available, I compressed most of them using that website. Source: about 1 year ago
Just like in this tool you can choose to resize an image and then put padding in the areas to not stretch it. By doing this and making all images 1:1 ratio they will look nice in dynamic ads. Source: over 2 years ago
Bulk Resize Photos: Allows dragging and dropping of multiple images, setting max widths, converting pngs to jpgs, and a whole bunch of other actions that I used to have to do in Photoshop. I don't use the compression option here, only resizing. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
