Who are we? We’re Ting! A regional internet service provider that believes #FiberConnectsUsAll! Learn more about us here: https://ting.com/internet. Source: 11 months ago
  • Expansion plans?
The moment we are able to we generally post a news release on our Tucows site and then we add the new town to our Ting Town page as things really pick up. Source: 11 months ago
  • All the WFH in Durham just woke up.
Someone recommended this alternate fiber service, already in some places in Wake County. Fill out the "bring it to our town" form if you'd like. https://ting.com/internet Would be nice to have another option. Source: 11 months ago
  • Colorado kills law that made it harder for cities to offer Internet service
TING[0] is another company offering fast fiber in CO, but it's only been rolled out to limited areas right now. I'm in downtown Denver and enjoy 1 gigabit symmetric fiber for $70/month ('unlimited' bandwidth, no port restrictions, etc) through CenturyLink. The landscape is improving here gradually, and I'm as happy as anyone to be able to purchase a fat dumb pipe from not-Comcast. [0] - https://ting.com/internet. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
  • Level Up Your Winter with Ting Internet
We have! They're actually all listed on the website. Any new towns will always be listed here, just FYI. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Warp[vz network] Data accounting does not match reality
I kept going back and forth and the rep kept stating the amount listed on usmobile.com, and inside the app, as the current month's data usage did NOT include hotspot data, and that the hotspot data is what drove me over 100GB. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for new carriers?
Can you specify what plan you are on with Mint? Try tello.com they have custom plans to match your needs. Or try usmobile.com, their pooled plan starts at $9 for Unlimited Talk / Text + $2 per GB of data on either Verizon or T-Mobile network. Taxes included for US Mobile on pooled plans only. Tello charges no fees except for taxes (no recovery fees like Mint, service fee, etc.) If you want other options with... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why is it so difficult to understand data usage with US Mobile?
Would you or anyone at US Mobile be able to expalin why the App shows different information than the web (http://usmobile.com)? Source: about 1 year ago
  • In my opinion, AT&T's website design needs a major overhaul.
Someone mentioned Verizon. I currently use them for wireless; they are not quite as bad. (Better performance, better navigation, less buggy). But the real winners here are some of the MVNOs (like US Mobile or Google Fi). Source: about 1 year ago
  • porting number
There are far better deals with MVNOs. If she's a heavy data user, US Mobile provides 100GB of "premium" data on Verizon for $45/month (plus about $5 in taxes); less with single lines. They have many cheaper plans for less data use, as do other MNVOs. Source: about 1 year ago
