Time Out (a free break reminder application)
Time Out is free, but you can donate for extra options, which I personally do. This is one of these succesful macOS apps that just keeps being updated every year or so. Latest Time Out version (2.9.2) doesn't show break screen

Eyes burning from programming?
On Windows I use EyeLeo as a timer. It also has a few eye exercises. And you can use the big break as a pomodoro timer, if you're into that technique. Source: about 2 years ago
For eye strain is it best to always have flux’s yellow hue on during the day and night or to have the normal white during day and yellow only at night?
