You say spreadsheets are not contenders, but I will still offer Tiller: https://tillerhq.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
Tiller (tillerhq.com) does this for $80/year. It downloads into a spreadsheet that also provides budgeting -- but you can do whatever you want with the data. I'm happy with it for multiple accounts and credit cards. Source: almost 2 years ago
I use Google Sheets for personal finance with TillerHQ to automate downloading bank data. It is, as far as I know, the only workable solution in this space. http://tillerhq.com. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Tiller. tillerhq.com connects to your accounts and fills in the line items into a gsheet or excel for you. Once there, they have templates to use or you can roll your own in spreadsheets. I use Actual budget. It’s open source, free, but you’ll have to figure out hosting. If you are tech-savvy then maybe https://actualbudget.com/ - similar to YNAB, but free & open-source. Source: 4 months ago
Looks visually quite similar to https://actualbudget.com/ (open-source, local-first). Did one influence the other? Are they both inspired by some other budget software? - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
I use https://actualbudget.com/ locally. You have to import your transactions yourself and it's all local. Source: 10 months ago
If you have the ability to selfhost, Actual budget has been my go to for budgeting. I just input bank transactions usually weekly and assign the transaction to it's appropriate category. Source: 10 months ago
