Cults3d is COMPLETE GARBAGE. The website itself barely functions. How do you sell models or download them if the site cannot even load photos??? Thingiverse is FAR better, the only issue is that it seems more designers use cults. hopefully they switch.

Cults3d is an amazing site, very well designed, with a huge community and with a lot of activity, the commitment of the cults3d team is impeccable, they are constantly highlighting new designs through the selection, inspiring new ideas and motivating designers to continue creating, thank you very much for developing a solid site that helps designers to generate income with 3d printing,cults3d does import thingiverse designs, and I feel good using both.

Top 10 3D Model Databases: The Best Sites to Download 3D Models for 3D Printing
Thingiverse is probably one of the biggest and most popular databases. It has a very active maker community behind it and offers free-to-use STL files only. You don’t even need to open an account in order to download a 3D model from their site. Sometimes the database can seem slightly less organized than the cleaner and simpler design of sites like Pinshape and Cults.

  • How can I improve the sound?
Since I don't live in the forest, the instrument's high volume was always a big problem, it came with a bundle of standard wooden reeds (2.5). I did some research and found that with a softer and thinner reed you need less air to create the vibration and therefore can play at a lower volume. I found “full range alto saxophone reed” on thingiverse.com and printed a (1.5) reed with PETG. It really worked, the volume... Source: 4 months ago
  • Ender 3 printer for my 13 yr old?
There are millions of free designs on printables.com and thingiverse.com and other sites. There is certainly no need to buy models. Commercial models do exist but they are usually highly elaborate decorative pieces. Source: 5 months ago
  • How I made a cool T-Rex Carving - workflow
I found a 3D model of a T-Rex on thingiverse.com that I liked. I used The T-Rex Skull by MakerBot - Thingiverse. This method lets you use any 3D model. Source: 8 months ago

Then, head over to a site that hosts 3D print files like thingiverse.com or printables.com to download .STL files. You'll want something super simple at first, like a low poly model. Nothing complicated. Source: 10 months ago

  • Why is Cults banned from the r/3DPrinting Reddit thread?
Since then, designers have used r/3DPrinting to share links to their designs and also to bring up issues they had with cults3d.com. We’re a growing site and we’ve made mistakes, but all of these issues have been resolved and the designers are happy with the outcome. We’re convinced that everything depends on exchange and dialogue, which is why we do our utmost to resolve any concerns directly and as quickly as... Source: 7 months ago
  • Do you think this could be made into an STL by anyone??
You can always search for a knock off brand that looks pretty much exactly the same as that, like search for something like mechanical space warrior man in cults3d.com or something like that. I'm sure someone has made something inspired by this miniature. ;). Source: 10 months ago

  • Already have a 3D printer and I want to try printing a doll. Any tips?
As for dolls..this site is something I’ve found which may work. It seems that a bunch of 3D doll making artists post their work here for sale, which makes me believe they may not be recasts as they artist themselves usually post part of the process on the listing, or the product while in their designing program. • My Death Guard Army - Two years of collecting and painting!
Prepare to be let down (or pumped up, I suppose). They're all printed. I wish I could take credit for the sculpts, but each one is printed. A) Tank with Flu by Osvaldos, B) Sickly Unicorn Class Troop Hauler by CORPSEDRAGON, and C) Nurgled Rhino by DarkGods. I bought the last one on Etsy, the others were gifts. But go to cults3d.com and search for them - I know the first two are free files! (That's the pumped... Source: 11 months ago
