  • Updates?
I know. I used to collect the LN, however since bookdepository.com closed, I can no longer buy them. Amazon shop is not accessible in my region, so I probably can only get them in a local Kinokuniya store which is usually priced much hire that buying the online. Or maybe I can only depend on the audiobook from somewhere like youtube. Source: 10 months ago
  • looking for a substitute to bookdepository
Bookdepository.com/ is shutting down business and I need a good substitute asap :))) I live in germany and it's really hard to get good international books that here that aren't considered mainstream enough to be in regular bookstores. So any good british website with free EU-shipping would be perfect. Any ideas? Source: 12 months ago
  • How strong is bell in the novel currently?
Damn, I really want to continue reading the novel but sadly bookdepository.com is closing this month. I don't know where I can get the novel unless I pay a visit to Kinokuniya and buy their overpriced light novel. Source: about 1 year ago
  • bookdepository.com is closing :(
So here's something very few of you may be aware of: Your local bookstore probably has the ability to order whatever title you could get on bookdepository.com/amazon or BOL or whatever other megacorp decided they could kill off the high street. (Of course they'll buy them from other megacorps, but at least they won't be dead set on killing your local shops). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Alternatives to bookdepository.com
With amazon shutting down bookdepository.com in a few weeks, which other good sites that has a big collection/variety of books? (apart from amazon). Source: about 1 year ago

  • Books and Strategies to Help Compensate for Education Gaps
A friend of mine confided in me about her homeschool experience. At 28 she's going to community college to pursue a degree, and was petrified of all the education gaps she knew she had, but even more so about the ones she didn't know she had. We sat down and started going over the things she was aware of, and I was able to help compile what we started calling 'foundation' books- ways to cover a lot of ground... Source: 9 months ago
  • Need Advice. Nervous about making the wrong decision, 40 and going back to school confused over costs.
Other comments have covered other aspects, but I used dealoz.com to get most of my books when I went to college. It's an aggregator that searches for books everywhere by ISBN plus shipping costs and seller coupons. You could sort by cheapest, transaction type (buy/rent/ebooks), new/used, etc. I just made sure to pick reputable sellers. Some the sellers host 3rd party sellers as well (like Ebay), so make sure to... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Besides the library, is there a more affordable place to get books?
When I was in college and buying a lot of used textbooks, I used dealoz.com, which is an aggregator that encompassing lots of different booksellers. Abebooks.com used to pop up on a lot of the searches I was doing. Source: over 1 year ago

There are book sales aggregators like https://dealoz.com/ or even talking to other students on campus may be alternative avenues. Or even just sourcing an electronic publication. Source: over 1 year ago
