I am moving from an ultra tab c to an air 3 c and strangely enough one of my apps (sync.com cloud storage) can be installed in the ultra tab c but it says its not compatible with the air 3 c device, even android is newer.. why? Am I missing something to fix/do? Source: 5 months ago
Depends on what you need, I have been sniffing around sync.com to back up my unraid. Will have to use a windows VM to handle the "backup". Source: 9 months ago
Sync.com might be unlimited right now but I highly doubt they will keep this up in the long run. And having to reupload after a few months sucks, especially with a slow connection. Every other service so far canceled this tier, or has some major asteriscs. Storage is pretty expensive, even if you operate at a huge scale so this is simply not a viable business model. Personally I’ve been using sish[1] recently, lots of ngrok alternatives out there now, especially as the pricing went a bit weird [1] https://github.com/antoniomika/sish. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
I used to use a similar tool called inlets but they removed the open licensing. I now self host a sish server (https://github.com/antoniomika/sish) which also uses ssh for the reverse tunnel client. So much simpler! - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
- Sish : Because I don't want to pay for ngrok anymore (https://github.com/antoniomika/sish). - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
