Standups is a web and mobile (iOS and Android) app that lets remote workers share video and voice updates about their progress with the rest of the team.
It has the familiar stories interface, but the features baked in (like multiple timezone support, timeboxing, and notetaking) make it an especially well-crafted solution for the corporate world. The story format has taken over social media and we translated the idea to the enterprise world. Now, groups that work closely together (but happen to be far apart geographically) can see team members faces’ as they articulate the headway they’ve made in their work.

Already mentioned to the author that the points are great, I would only add that slack standup bot, like this one https://standupbuddy.app/ in 2021 might be a good alternative to those standups since it keeps you organized and you can move together towards the sprint goal. The one I mentioned is just simple, but has many alternatives to choose from on the market. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
Great tools are mentioned above, we also use Jira and Miro. For daily scrum meetings, I would recommend slack bot for standup so you don't need to have any notes during daily meetings. For bigger meetings, you can use Notion. Hope it helps! Source: about 3 years ago
I just remembered this meme 😂 Though, we moved to asynchronous reports in slack standup bot a long time ago. There is no more space for funny jokes, but I'm happy not to be in a call every morning 😂. Source: about 3 years ago
These questions are quite typical for daily standups, yet many companies eliminated daily meetings/calls. Personally, we moved to Slack standup bot a long way ago when our team increased to 20 people and most of us are in different time zones. Surprisingly it improved the communication in our team since now we have one weekly meeting and people are not tired of each other. Maybe you (or your manager) should try to... Jira is very flexible so you can definitely continue using it and explore the features. In addition, I would use slack standup bot, like this one to automate daily reports. The reports are accessible from each member in one channel. Good luck with your career! Source: about 3 years ago
