  ...any chance you can set up or hang a mirror to reflect the window's natural light into the room? A bright lamp, posters or a colorful lightweight fabric would help a lot. A plant near the window and bright, light, patterned or textured cover for the bed/pillowcases.   Everyone couple of birthdays I get my husband a new batch of water bottle stickers which often involve 30 rock jokes from redbubble. They make a good litmus test for making coworker friends at the hospital. The last batch didn’t wear well in the dishwasher and I need to order more this week.
