To piggyback on this, for sites you might want to keep an email for be able to kill it if necessary, I use https://sneakemail.com . Create a brand new address for every site, all of which forward to your chosen email with the name you set. (Frex; go to WeSpamLots, create a new email named 'TheySpamLots' and when they send you email, it comes in as "WeSpamLotsNewsletter-at-wespamlots.com | TheySpamLots". Source: over 1 year ago

Some services block Sneakemail addresses because they consider them "disposable". That's sort of understandable if they have a legitimate reason to limit sock puppet accounts, like for an online poll, but I've run into paid services that block them for no reason at all (and, like ClouDNS, they never explain why.)
