While Skillshare definitely skews older (which hey, you can learn a new skill too, Mamas), they’ve got some fantastic offerings. The Best Free Education Websites & Learning Apps for Kids
Outschool OK, so Outschool isn’t technically free, but with online video classes taught by real teachers as low as $5 a class, it’s worth checking out. 8 fantastic educational resources for online learning, just in case you need them, parents.
My 9-year old daughter has been getting tutoring from Outschool over the last few months and we couldn’t be happier. Same goes for our editor Kate, who has been using it as part of her homeschooling curriculum (see her son, above) You’ll find everything from art classes to ASL tutoring and pretty much everything in between. • Is Outschool really good for homeschooling?
Outschool is a web platform where instructors offer classes, individual tutoring, and group activities. The instructors are independent and can choose their subjects and presentation style. Some classes are live and some are prerecorded. Source: 10 months ago

My art lover started with art classes on Outschool link. It's not a ton social, but it does help with learning to talk to others in a safe space and doing a fun activity. Outschool also has social clubs where kids and teens can meet up and just chat about certain subjects. If you can't join groups in person, this might be an option to get started. • Where can I provide french tutoring
I teach on http://outschool.com, and though it is based on the states, I have been quite happy. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Fellow trans people living in states that are actively passing anti-trans laws, how are you coping? Are you planning to leave?
I always make this recommendation when educators post here. Have a look at the Outschool program https://outschool.com it's a remote learning company that I have a niece that teaches through them. I've heard nothing but good about the organization, and it teaches many that cannot attend a regular school. Including many trans children. Source: about 1 year ago

Outschool.com also has some teachers who do orton-gillingham stuff that we tried and we found that useful as well if you think doing it yourself is a bad idea. Source: about 1 year ago
