  Another option, better, IMHO, is to download Sigil (https://sigil-ebook.com/), and also download and install the epubcheck plugin for Sigil (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2950625&postcount=1). Then see if Sigil find any issues upon opening your epub, if not, then run the plugin and see if there are any validation issues.   I convert EPUBs to PDFs often with Zamar @ zamzar.com. You are limited to 2 or 3 free conversions per day. When you get to the site, note that "Convert to" format is found by having to scroll down a lot in column 2 under Document formats, which is below image types at the top of column.
