Oof, yeah, that will be tough to accomplish if they don't already have it as part of their code. The one direct API we do use has settings on their portal that can limit things (in our case, it's which items get synced, so kind of similar to your use case) but that's really up to them. My current company uses Corcentric for the AP processing, and CSI for the payment processing but I think Corcentric now has their own payment processing piece. No action necessary after initial setup. We use QB Desktop so use bill.com's sync tool to sync invoices and payments into QBD prior to doing reconciliations or when recording deposits as we specify any received monies (check, electronic payment, credit card) to go to the Undeposited Funds account in QB so we can manually record deposits to match up with bank account transactions.
