I bet it is used in a lot of ways people don't notice. In my site[1] I use wasm to run an ancient piece of code called SGP4, but it's totally invisible to the user. Someone actually ported SGP4 to JavaScript but it's slower and doesn't perfectly match the original, so it's great to have the option to run the real C version (actually the original is Fortran but the C port is the standard these days). Starlink Go to this site. It will tell you all the satelites in your area and what time they will pass over you. It will also tell you how many starlink satts will be in the 'train' . Most I have seen was 54 travelling east west and 52 travelling north south. And passed in the middle. That would have totally freaked out a few people. Https://james.darpinian.com/satellites/.
